A Short Review Of Tectona Grandis – Ethanopharmacological Activity
Keywords:
Tectona grandis Linn, Teak, Chemical constituents, Ethanopharmacological activityAbstract
Tectona grandis (family – verbenaceae) is an extensive hardwood plant which has been known for decades and is used for both commercial and therapeutic purposes. Is often called as teak. This review article is focused on the various pharmacological aspects of the allopathic potential drug Tectona grandis Linn. A variety of interesting however restricted compounds are extracted and known from tree Linn and was screened out for its varied potential pharmacologic activities.
